About
Taste, Move, Learn: My Garden (TML: My Garden) is a nutrition and physical activity education program for K-5 students to explore nutrition, movement, and agriculture by learning how to grow food. The program can be implemented in classroom, garden, or other community-based settings through in-person, facilitator-guided sessions.
Each session centers around five core activities: exploration, discussion, tasting, physical activity, and gardening. These hands-on components help students taste new vegetables, move their bodies in engaging ways, and build a connection to growing food.
Educator guides and optional extender activities provide flexibility and help deepen learning. Every session includes a take-home newsletter that reinforces learning at home with fun, age-appropriate activities and information for families about how to grow food together.
